I'm Wayne Whited and I'm David Burns, and the time has finally arrived, after nearly two years, one hundred and thirteen days to be exact, Tomorrow is the premiere of Star Trek Strange New World's Season three. Now, David, how excited are you for the premiere?

1:28 It's been a long time coming and I cannot wait to see what happens with that finale we got last season. Ah me too. I'm very excited because last season was incredible. It was and you know the quality of the writing just seemed to get better and better as the season went by. Yeah, yeah, I can't wait to see what they have in store for us, because they give us in some wonderful episodes and nice treats that we don't express. So looking forward to see what they have in store for us in this season. Well, we've been waiting so long for this conclusion, that massive cliffhanger they gave us, they threw at us, in fact, that with the Hegimity Part one, just let everybody know, you know, there was a long way. This season was originally premiere, planned to be premiere last year, but you know, because of the twenty twenty three Hollywood writers strike, delayed the filming for quite some time, forced Paramount to bump this new episodees back a year or two now, so it's really been a while since we've seen Captain Pike, mister Spock and the others on screen. Therefore, David, why don't you give us a brief recap of what went down during season two?

2:35 A lot I'm going to tell you, but I'm going to keep it brief. The season would add some incredible stories to what we know of Star Trek, while at the same time giving us a musical that was well to put it plainly, with something else, wrapping Klingons should never be a thing, just thing. We opened with the conclusion to the first season finale with the very fight for one of its crew members and first of all, the certain to Chinriley, who was arrested by Starfleet in an outstanding courtroom drama that Star Trek does so well. We have an amazing crossover with Lower Decks when the Boemler and Mariner who are sucked into the live action world and interact with Pike and the crew of the Enterprise who have to team up to complete a mission and get back to their own time and place and under the cloak of war. We would see doctor membinga like we have never seen him before as we learned his past and nickling on Wars and find himself along with Pike, an immortal debate that ends in death and serious changes to some of the characters we thought we knew so well. Leon will go back in time with Kirk, and we would have a touching episode where O'Hora finally deals with the loss of Hemmer. We would see Spock's DNA completely removed, making him fully human, giving us some very fun situations with him and the crew. We would see Pike and the Enterprise return to a familiar place on Rigel seven, bringing back some classic memories of the original Star Trek episode the Case. In the final episode, we would find our crew at the edge of Federation Space, where they discover the Gorn have returned and have attacked

4:07 with the deadly Vengyans. Discovering a new face, but one we all know quite well with Montgomery Scott. The crew have to fight for their very lives while Pike does his best to come up with a creative way to do an unfanctioned rescue. Upon doing this, we end on one of the biggest cliffhangers that we have yet seen on this series, as the crew is capped by some of the crew is captured by the Gordon and themselves, leading us with the dreaded to be continued exactly. That was perfect. Now, of course, you know this is where Phaser Set to Sun got started. We reviewed every episode of season two all the way back two years ago. That's where it all began. So let's rather than taking a detailed look, let's just kind of recap up everything that we liked and disliked and everything in season two.

4:57 So David, I'll let you start off at the discussion, and what were your specific likes and dislikes during that second season. Well, clearly, I already kind of mentioned one of my dislikes in my synopsis. Whereas the music webisode, I know there's some fans out there who love it, and you know, I give it to the writers to trying to do something different, something creative with Star Trek, you know, so that we're not having the same things over and over. So I give them that, and you know what, continue to do that. There may be stuff I don't like, you know what, but so be it. That's that's the way it is. You know, we all can't like everything together to be a boring freaking world. But you know, I just I wasn't a fan of that episode and I've watched it again and it just doesn't click with me.

5:40 I don't know why. I mean when you know, I've never been a gigantic fan of musicals, but they have come on to me over the years, you know where you know I have. I do appreciate them, and I do like some of them, but it's just this just didn't work for me in this world. I know Scott once once again is on away mission. By the way, he liked the episode, and you know, I respect that, and you know, we had that discussion with that episode, but I still just can't find myself enjoying it like like I should. Now. As for likes, there are so many likes about this season. Again, I mentioned the Courtroom Drama about with First Officer. Who know, there are some powerful scenes in that episode, some incredible writing that just blew me away in an episode. And we even discussed about that episode that you know, Star Trek has had other courtroom drama episodes that have just been phenomenal. It's like they know how to do those episodes and do them well. And it was just one of those things that you were on the edge of your seat and then when they finally got to the conclusion of that episode, you were my chin was just dropping because it was done so well. I was like, holy crap, did that just happened? And it was just it was just phenomenal. Man.

6:59 But then an absolute blaugh with having Vomer and Mariner coming into the live action world. I loved that so freaking much. When they first mentioned they were going to do that. I was very curious to how they were going to pull it off, you know, could they pull it off? Boy? Did they ever? Man, I'm telling you, the humor did not miss. It felt like you were watching Lower Decks, but obviously in the live action world of Pike and the crew. And I loved it so much, man, I really really did about you. I agree with pretty much everything you said that. I mean, there was some really great episodes last season, but I think the highlights there were three big ones that I really really liked. And yeah, that second episode with Unichen Riley her trial was just an incredible character piece.

7:49 Yep. You know, it really gave us an in depth look at the character of Number one and let Rebecca remain to flex her acting chops. I just I just loved that episode. Was a great, great start. And then you mentioned the the crossover Lower Decks episode that I think is everybody's favorites a lot of people. I mean that that was such a great episode, funny all the way through, beautifully directed, Love it love. I hope they do more episodes like that, maybe not with just Lower Decks, but more Let's see more of Star Trek and Star Trek exchanging worlds, and then that last episode, the Cliffhanger. I loved that last episode, the Cliffhanger against the corn was was so well done, it was so epic. So yeah, there's those three just just blew my mind. Well, there were a lot of other episodes too that way. But I also agree with you about the one that didn't quite click with me, and that was Subspace Rhapsody. My I love musicals, I really do know. You know, there's quite a few of them I can name that that I like. I just don't feel that it's the right thing to do in a television series because they just don't have the time to work out the songs, work out the choreography and stuff it. You know, television has produced at a very tight schedule, you know, and they just don't have the time that the musicals for films do.

9:16 So that's I just didn't think it worked. But I do understand that there are a lot of fans out there that really did like that episode. I've seen it over the last two years of people talking about it. You know, there are rewatch parties for that episode, you know. I mean, I understand that, but I definitely respect that that people like this episode because everybody's allowed to have their likes and dislikes. You know, that's just the way life is. So I acknowledge that, and I acknowledge its impact to the series, So you. Know, I'll give them that. Yeah, absolutely, I can't argue with that. Like I said, it'd be a boring world if we all like the same things. So it is what it is, and I give it to the writers for trying.

9:59 To be creative. Yeah. I mean every television series that every season has, you know, an episode that you're gonna love and there's an episode you're probably not gonna like very much. It's that's just the way it is. Yeah, I know, I know, you and I and it's Scott. We talked about how we feel the Gorn or the Borg in Strange New Worlds, and when they first introduced to Gordon season one, that was probably one of my favorite episodes because it was a flat out horror movie in Star Trek is what that episode was and what it felt like. I mean, it felt like it was watching really Scott's Alien is what it was. And you know, to bring them back for the finale of season two I think was absolutely perfect because there was a lot of unset things that they need to cover with the Gorn, so it was good that they brought them back and the fact that, you know, the people who got captured by the Gorn. I'm very curious on where this is going, and we'll talk a little bit. I'm sure about what we expect is going to happen in the future of Strange New Worlds a little bit later obviously in this podcast.

10:58 So yeah, I mean, hit it. I love the way I love what they've done with the Gorn. I like the idea that they're taking. These ideas are in these characters from the classic original series. You know, we really knew nothing about to barely even saw or just saw a guy and Rubber Mask, you know, fighting Captain Kirk, and they're taking it and creating a whole new Star Trek legend with them, yep, you know, creating a brand new world bringing him in. I hope they do more of that. I'm sure they will. I know they will. But they've done an incredible job with the Gorn and how they fleshed out those characters. Another thing that I like to point out, and again I know we talked about in the episode the very first episode of season two, how unique it was that they wrote the captain out of the episode. Yeah, you don't see that in Star Trek.

11:47 You don't. They're always mostly centered on the cap or they're always around. But the fact he just up see you guys later, I'm going somewhere, and then it was about the rest of the crew. That's another thing I love about these New Worlds. It's the fact that you have this ensemble cast. Okay, that's brilliantly casted. Everybody is fantastic in this series. Exactly. You get to explore them individually. You get to see their stories, you get to see their likes, you get to see their loves, and you get to see the things that are broken in them like us humans. And the fact that we get to explore that with them more in depth. That's what makes this show even more special to me. Not just said at Star Trek, but the fact that we get to know the crew so much in detail.

12:37 Well, that brings me to another question I was going to have with you, which exactly along those lines, is you know what you thought the standout character for that season? Because they really worked out and gave these characters an episode each one of them an episode to shine and I love that. I love the writers to sort a great job with planning that for me. I I gotta say season two's standout was You're her Celia Rose Gooding just really did a phenomenal job. Because that episode was called lost in Translation. You brought that up in your synopsis. Was a real high favorite on my list, and I just thought she was brilliant. The character was just so well written in that episode. And there are a lot of other moments. I mean that that moment in uh those on Scientists where she's with Marner. Love that scene.

13:34 You know, she's got so much more now than just sitting on the bridge and saying, you know, Hanling frequencies open. And I love that what they're doing with all the characters every year, and I hope they continue that. I'm I know they will. Yeah, So I'm exactly with you on this, Wayne. I absolutely love a horror and that's why I pointed it out in my synopsis because that episode was just written so well for a horror and she she's had a lot of good moments, even in season one, She's had a lot of good moments. Yes, And you can tell the writers are really leaning towards her because of her not getting the original horror, not getting that respect that she had on the bridge. She did eventually, don't get me wrong, but you know we've discussed that and getting to see this character in more depth and getting to do more things and like more than that you said, just in haling frequencies or whatever, seeing her just shined.

14:29 I mean, Celia is just a brilliant actress for one thing, and the fact that they casted her as a horror just shows the brilliance of the casting of this show and in that episode and just just seeing her how she just came to terms the things over the season and just showing her brilliance on that bridge. You know, I'll go back to season one, remember the episode where and I know we're talking about season two, but I'd like to go back to season one where she showed her brilliance with that episode with the music. Do you remember that? I do great episode. Love that episode not just for the story but for a horror because in that moment I realized, holy crap, they're really giving us the ahura we deserve.

15:11 Yeah. Yeah, I felt the same way about that episode. And then the lost in translation episode. She's just done so much to the character view her, which always, in my opinion, with the Michelle Nichols, always felt like a terribly underused character, even especially especially in the films, you know, because that's what happens with an ensemble cast. You know, one or two get thrown into the background. I'm glad that they're bringing her out, giving her so much do and show that the character is a fantastic creation and the actress is playing it is absolutely wonderful. Yeah, and I will I will say one thing. I'm sure Michelle Felmware is miln. Yes, there's no doubt about it.

15:54 Yeah. Yeah. Now, last season also had some pretty great guest stars. Which one did you think you was your favorite during the season. You know where this is going, Clearly it's Jack Quaid and Tany Newsome, who are you know, bringing not only their voice talent from lower decks as Boemler and Mariner, but getting to see them actually perform those characters in the live action world. Just just how talented they are. Because you know, I know, voice acting is can be tough because you really have to put so much of yourself into it. But the mere fact that you can take when you are performing that cartoon character, that animated character into a live action world can be a tough thing to do. But the fact those two brought it to that episode and we're exactly that animated character that we saw them and in live action, they were brilliant way and they have to be pointed out as the best as the guest appearances for that season.

16:58 Oh yeah, I mean you you said the correct word brilliant. I mean the idea that the voice actors can actually play the characters and live action really blows my mind. But it's it. They're perfect. I mean everything from from their mannerisms to the way they talk to Boimler's scream. I just I love that episode and I love them. We're we're all big Lower Deck fans, you know, everybody's very aware of that, so that that episode is great. But I also want to point out one other one. I don't know if you consider a guest star, I kind of do. Carol Kane as as Pellia. I loved her. I know she's more of a reoccurring cast than a guest star, but I just love what they did with her character. She's such a fun addition to the cast and and she's back this new season. I can't wait to see what they do with her.

17:49 You know, I make sure to jot this down because you're not on the same wavelength here. Wayne. I wanted to throw her out there as well, because you know, I know he's not a guest star. He joined the cast. But you know there's some there's some episodes she's not in so much. But I'm telling you what, every scene she's in, even if it's a small scene scene, it is golden man, it is. She is so good, so funny and just brillian. Again, I'm gonna use the word brilliant because she is. I mean, Kara Kine has been around a really long time and she had a brilliant career. To keep using that word because it's true, she's had a great career over the years. And the fact that when we heard she was joining Strange New Worlds as one of the cast members got me all excited. And I know we've read about that before, but the fact in seeing her in those scenes just is absolutely hysterical and has joined that cast perfectly. Like the chemistry with her did not miss a beat with the rest of the cast. Even though she was the new cast member.

18:53 She fit in. Perfectly, always like she was there all the time. I love her as an actress. I've watched her over the years and the film she'd done, all the way back to when I used to watch reruns of Taxi. I just I think she's fantastic. When they announced that she was going to be on the show, and I'm like, oh, that's just brilliant. That word again, word again. I just what a great idea, what a great casting of a legendary actress, especially television actress. And she didn't disappoint I. Just like I said, I can't wait to see what she does in season three. All Right, I think I pretty much know the answer to this. I think you listeners probably know the answer to this one. But David, what was your favorite episode of the second season?

19:36 You know you might be surprised with this, and I'm going to go a different way. Oh, I'm going with Under the Cloak of War? Oh okay, okay. For a few reasons. So we discovered him being a was the ghost, right, but we got to see the klingon war that we've always wanted to see, and we get to see the medical department doing their best to take care of some of the Starfleet soldiers, and I was like, we have never seen before. I thought some of those were just incredible scenes that we got to see, you know, watching true warfare and Star Trek, which is, you know, something we really haven't seen over the years, you know, and getting to see that that grit that down in the trenches, like we got to see there just a little bit. It's a good little taste. We didn't get a ton of it, but we got just enough to make it really stand out to me that it felt like a war film within Star Trek, and I've always wandered that and that's why this episode really stood out to me. But not just that, it was that Mimbinga crossing the line in this episode at the end.

20:41 Oh yeah, And it's it's that that moral debate that battle again that I mentioned that in synopsis. You know that that Pike was having Do you agree with Membinga? Did here? Do you not? I don't know, did he did? He did he cross the line because of you know, the thing that happened in that war. Granted the war is gone, but you know, if you put yourself into Miminga shoes and you went through that very situation that he went through. Could you handle that guy being on the the the bridge with you, the ship with you, and and tolerate it and not do something about it. And the way it ended where you had that struggle at the end and you know you saw it what it was through like a stained glass or something like that, I believe it was, and he stabs him, and it just I loved that episode so much and it was brilliant to me, and again using that word because there's a lot of brilliance in this season, there really was, and that was just it just I didn't expect that, to be honest with you, Wanne, that ending, and it caught me by surprise, and I think that's why this is the episode that I wanted to talk about in this situation. So yeah, I loved it.

21:58 Yeah, I had a hard time choosing it. That was because that was one of my top episodes. That was probably the episode that was definitely the most dramatic, most thought provoking of the entire season. And because the ending, and they did it on purpose, they left that that not exactly open but open to your interpretation and your feelings exactly how you felt about that, And I love that I love the work there. I mean, you know, some of that was rather close to home for me, and I remember when we were reviewing the episode talking about that, how much we all really enjoyed, how how strong, how provoking that episode was. So yeah, I almost chose that.

22:38 I almost chose a loss in translation, but I did go with the most obvious, uh those old Scientists, only because I think that's the episode I enjoyed the most and was looking forward to. You know, like I said, we're all huge fans of Lower Decks. You know, I wish it would have continued past its five years. I'd seen them cross over into live action, and seeing strange new worlds cross over into the animation at the end was just was just so much fun. It's I've rewatched season two over the last two years, probably about three, maybe four times, I'm not sure, but that episode I've watched rewatch the most. I think I've probably watched it about ten times to tell you true, because it's just so much fun.

23:25 It's a good one. It's a good pick for sure. All Right, before we travel through the Guardiana Forever into the future, let's pause a little and listen to this. Believe it or not. David and I are back and we've still got lots to talk about you. So let's look forward to season three. Now that we've looked back and talked about everything we remembered on season two and hopefully refreshed your mind and the events that happened there, we're going to look forward to what's in store for us over the next next few months. Well, what do we have in store for us for season three? We got that trailer that came out about a month ago. Uh, what do you think about that? Anything you got out of that trailer?

24:06 There was a lot in that trailer that obviously some of it doesn't make any sense at all. It won't see those episodes. But I know, obviously, you know, we've already talked about the anticipation of getting the conclusion to the to the cliffhanger, like, yeah, finally after a very long wait, grueling weight on my Dad. Yes, we're going to get some comedy episode obviously where the crew gets turned into Vulcans. I think that's gonna be kind of interesting. I know Patton Oswalt is playing a vulcan. It might even be that same episode. So very curious is that who he's playing. He's playing a vulcan. I didn't know. Yeah, a murder mystery episode. I think I got out of the trailers. I think that's gonna be the weird episode that we get this season, you know, kind of like the musical was this one might be that episode.

24:59 I don't, I don't know. Yeah, there were scenes of them dressed in like look like nineteen forties or fifties outfits and something like that. I'm assuming assuming it's that episode. That episode's also directed by Jonathan Frakes, Yes. Which is another reason why I'm looking for yeah to that. And then the one that's gotten very curious is the crew is being forced to go completely analog. Okay, did you see when when Palea was like hooking up a phone in the trailer? I think I think I missed that a little bit, but I know what you're talking about. It, and I guess they have to go analog for some unknown reason. I don't know what happens to the ship, but clearly they have to do something in order to keep their communication going. So I don't, I don't know.

25:39 It seems very interesting, but a lot happened in that trailer that, Yes, what is going on. Yes, a lot of things flashed by a really quick I mean I got there's there was glumpstons of some sort of like a lush green world being attacked. I did catch a really quick shot of a kling on. Yeah, there was that that pep talk between Kirk Pike, which looks like Captain Kirk is having to take over command of the Enterprise for brief time. There was a huge ground firefights and lots of Gordon shifts with which I'm presuming is that's from the season premiere? Yeah, I think so. And then of course we got the return of Montgomery Scott. Very excited about that.

26:21 So what do you hope you see this season? You know, I'm hoping that we get to see you think Montgomery Scott's going to stay Do you think that once the cliffhanger is done so the first episode, do you think he's gonna stay on board the Enterprise or do you think he is just going to go away and then come back later. But I'll let you answer that in a little bit. I don't know if we're going to get any more of the original crew members this season, like McCoy or check Off, or do you think I think we're gonna get I think they're gonna pause on that a little bit, and we're gonna get that probably season four or even season five, which we know is going to be the final season of Strange New Worlds. So I don't want them to be in a rush to that. I'm excited, don't get me wrong.

27:09 I do want to see that, but you know that we know that enterprise that we want to see this crew. But another thing that I'm really curious about is when are we going to start losing some of these characters. Yeah, that's they're not around in the og, but you know, at least that we know of maybe they's somewhere else in the galaxy or doing something else. That's cool if they explain that, but we we know what happens to Pike re crying out loud, we know where they's But some of these other crew members, you know, we don't know what happens. So when is that going to start hap I'm sure it probably won't be this season. They'll probably be, you know, start heating up in season four and season five, which I believe, by the way, did they just finish season five for didn't they filming it?

27:52 Yeah, they have finished four and I don't I'm not sure when they're supposed to do to is film in season five, but it's not that far off. I don't think Yeah, I don't think so did it. But it's good to see, you know, Kirk being in a little bit of a command role because we obviously know where that's going and that's coming from. But I'm excited to see more of diving down into getting to know these characters even more because again we're gonna go back to talking about how it's an ensemble cast. We get to know so much more about them, and I think this episode we're going to get the very first episode. I think we're going to get some more of that for sure. For Cecily, definitely lay on because remember her history gone and she got captured by the go in the finale of season two, so what's going to happen there.

28:41 Surely they're not going to write off her character this quick. But then again, look what they did the Heimmer. They're like, see you later. Yeah, we don't know. I mean, we never know about these characters. We have no idea that they're all contracted for five seasons, and never feels that so yeah, yeah, you know, you actually make me think about some of this stuff because I wanted to say, I hope. I mean, we're definitely going to see more of Pelly and Scotty, but I now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think he's going to be joining the Enterprise just yet. But I do think maybe like Kirk may pop in for like, you know, three or four episodes right other than I mean, but what I really do hope and I'm sure they will, is that they continue that trend like they did last season and used the episodes to focus on each one of those main and secondary characters and give them their times to shine again, because we want to see more of all of them. They're all, every last one of them are fantastic characters, fantastic actors and actresses, and you know they there's still a lot more to explore with their characters and the story. I also hope we see more of George Kirk.

29:47 Yes, oh gosh, yes, I liked him. I did. I really liked him, you you know. And another thing too, is I want to see they need to address the ending of the Cloak of War, right, We've got to come back to that somewhere because remember I forget what episode followed that, but it was like, why did this episode follow the Cloak of War? Because of the way that ended? It was awkward, right, Yeah, I was confused by that. So I'm like, how do you not address what happened at the end of that episode? Remember that the character of men Benga, there's still a lot more to his story. He's one of the first characters that we do know a little bit about, yep, and that you know right now he is the chief medical Officer of the Enterprise, but he loses that rank that position somehow because when we saw him in the original series, he's still on the Enterprise, but he is not chief medical officer. He's actually second doctor under McCoy.

30:48 So what happened? Could this could we have begun to see you know that part of the story? Maybe that's it could be. It could come up, come back up and you know, bite him in the ass. Yeah, but that has got to happen. It won't happen this season. I'm almost certain that probably won't happen until season five. But they have to address it this season, right at least a little, I. Would think, So they can't you know, to let it go for that long, you know, because he's I always assume, and I'm pretty sure this is the way the writers are doing it that each year of the show that we watch equals one year on the Enterprise. So. You know, I if they let it hang till season five, that's like two years later. I just don't see that happening. I think I think it will at least a little bit of that storyline will start coming in. They'll probably stretch it out for a few years, but I do hope that they address it and don't just let it hang for a while.

31:39 Right. Yeah. We also we also got a few another interesting guest star this season. There's Ciliana Solivan as Roger Corby. There's a character that was mentioned a couple of times during season two because Nurse Chapel was leaving the Enterprise to what was it some sort of like tea. Yeah, yeah, Well that's another character from the original series that we saw and he becomes her fiance. So there's a lot more story there. Now. I am certain that we're going to see it this season. This this is a storyline that's going to begin and probably conclude this season. So we got we got all. That to look for the one they call it from friction with back.

32:21 Oh yeah, oh yeah, well, you know that's something also I wanted to bring up to because you know, Spock and Chapel have been kind of an on and off thing. But there they've been let's just say they've been an item, yes, and they are definitely not an item in the original series. So we there there, right, there is more. There's a storyline that we've got to wait to see something happens between them, and I think this might be it. I mean, who knows, we'll find out. Yeah, you're right, there's a lot of gaps they got to fill in here. I mean, granted, they still got three seasons including this one, but we'll see. I'm curious, and you know, we've got got some interesting titles.

33:01 Have you Have you seen the titles of the episodes? They really make me curious. The of course, we we talked about the Murder Mystery one. It's called a Space Adventure Hour. I love that title. That's great. But the sixth episode is called this a Lot who ate its tail? Now? I didn't think about this until you mentioned it, but this is probably the episode where they get turned into Balkans. But I also like that title too. I think it's definitely yeah, it's definitely got. It's probably going to be a Spock episode obviously, yes, but the episode after that has really got me curious, and it's just simply titled what is Starfleet? I have a feeling that's going to be a very dramatic episode in my opinion. But so we got a lot to look forward to, some great stuff coming up, and a lot that we don't know about yet.

33:50 Yeah, it's exciting because this this starts, uh it tomorrow after this episode airs, right, That's right, So that's exciting times that we're finally getting to see this. And I hope we don't have a long I know, since they finished filming season four. Don't make us wait two years. Please give it at least in the spring or in the summer of next year, you know, come on. Let's hope the writers don't go and strike again. Yes, please, don't, you know, because we want to. I know they're going to leave us with some kind of cliffhanger in this season. Who knows what that is going to be because they always catch us by surprise, And I'm very curious about how that's going to happen. And you know another thing that you know we always talk about this too, is I very much appreciate I know a lot of people there's not a lot of things out there of Star Trek Discovery, but we have one thing to think Star Trek Discovery for and that's the show we're watching now. So we got it. Yes, we wouldn't have had this if it wasn't for Discovery, So very thankful for that, and we at least get you know, we know Star Trek used to be seven seasons and now it's pretty much five. Five is the new Steven in the world of Star Trek. I guess we're I'm fine with if five seasons is still good.

That's fifty episodes, fifty hours of Star Trek that we can enjoy over and over again for the future. Yeah, absolutely could agree more.
